At LuzCraft, I believe what we bring into our homes matters. That's why I prioritize natural, eco-conscious materials whenever possible, creating handmade pieces designed to bring warmth, beauty, and a more intentional atmosphere to your space.

Why I Use White Beeswax

For decorative pieces and sculpted designs, I often choose white beeswax because it provides a clean canvas for color. Unlike natural yellow beeswax, which can influence the final shade, white beeswax allows soft pastels and custom colors to appear more true to tone while still offering the durability and beauty of natural beeswax.

The Waxes I Use

🐝 Why Beeswax?

Beeswax is often used differently than soy wax due to its naturally firmer consistency. It is ideal for creating decorative candles, wax sachets, and sculpted designs that need to hold their shape over time.

Unlike soy wax, which is commonly chosen for container candles and strong fragrance throw, beeswax offers durability, a subtle natural honey aroma, and a beautiful natural finish. Each wax has its own purpose, and selecting the right one depends on the type of creation being made.

At LuzCraft, I carefully choose natural and eco-conscious materials whenever possible, selecting the wax that best suits each handmade design.

🌱 Why Soy Wax?

Soy wax is primarily used for container candles and is valued for its smooth finish and excellent fragrance performance.

Unlike beeswax, soy wax is generally not recommended for highly detailed molds or sculpted decorative pieces because it is naturally softer and more flexible. Beeswax is often the preferred choice for flowers, figures, wax sachets, and designs that need to maintain their shape over time.

At LuzCraft, I use soy wax mainly for scented container candles and beeswax for many decorative creations, choosing each wax based on the purpose of the design.
